Meet the Doctors
|
|
|
Dr. Stadnyk was born in Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada. At an early
age, his family moved to the United States where he attended grade
school and high school in San Diego, California. He attended San
Diego State University and majored in Chemistry and Microbiology.
He received his dental degree from St. Louis University Dental
School. More recently, he has studied at the Dawson Center for
Advanced Dental Study in St. Petersburg, Florida, and the Seattle
Institute of Advanced Dental Studies.

Dr. Stadnyk considers dentistry not only his profession, but his
passion. He especially enjoys oral reconstruction, cosmetic dentistry,
and restoring dental implants. He has even served as a clinical
laser trainer for the Opus Dent Laser Company.
Dr. Stadnyk and his wife, Ilona, live in Chesterfield where they
have raised three sons; Michael, Matthew, and Gregory. Hobbies
include relaxing at the Lake of the Ozarks, boating, traveling,
and reading.

Dr. Drissell has practiced dentistry in West St. Louis County
for almost 25 years. A 1977 graduate of Parkway Central High School,
he received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Missouri
State University. He attended The University of Missouri-Kansas
City School of Dentistry and graduated in 1985.
Dr. Drissell enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. He likes
the ability to provide a variety of dental treatments for his
patients. He especially enjoys areas of cosmetic dentistry and
dental implants.
He has received additional dental training from the Dawson Center
in Florida and the Seattle Institute of Advanced Dental Studies
where emphasis is placed on mastery level skills and techniques
in dentistry.
Dr. Drissell belongs to the following dental organizations: the
St. Louis Dental Society, Missouri Dental Society, American Dental
Association, the American Academy of Laser Dentistry, and the
American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.
Dr. Drissell and his wife, Kathy, a dental hygienist, met at the
UMKC dental school and have been married for 25 years. They have
3 children: Andy, Megan, and Jeff. Outside of spending time with
his family and traveling, Dr. Drissell enjoys cycling, sports,
and other recreational activities.

Dr. Bergman is a St. Louis native. He graduated from De Smet
Jesuit High School in 1995. He attended St. Louis University and
graduated in 2000 with a degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
After working at Barnes Jewish Hospital for a year, Dr. Bergman
went to UMKC School of Dentistry where he graduated in 2005 with
his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. He then attended a residency
program at UMKC and received a degree in Advanced Education in
General Dentistry. This was a one year program based around implant
dentistry, progressive dental techniques, and restorations. Dr.
Bergman returned to St. Louis and joined doctors Darrell Drissell
and Harry Stadnyk in their West St. Louis County practice. He
continues to pursue studies in advanced dental techniques and
topics. Since graduating in 2005, Dr. Bergman has over 350 hours
of continuing education with an emphasis placed on implant and
cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Bergman's hobbies include golf, bowling,
and working out. Most of his free-time, however, is spent with
his wife Susan and their new daughter, Rebecca.
